Pilates for Riders June 8th 12:00

In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will cover the basic anatomy of a rider, including which muscles to stretch and which to strengthen, as well as group warm-up and various Pilates exercises which are beneficial to riders.  Our aim is to improve the rider's seat and balance to enable the rider to improve their 'dialogue' with their horse, through their seat and aids. Through the use of various props (foam roller, rotational discs, balance cushion (sit fit) and yoga block, we will work towards better kinesthetic body awareness and understanding of what it takes to improve the harmony between rider and horse.  Riders of all levels and disciplines are encouraged to participate. $75+ hst Sign Up Here
