Push through legs

Ahh push through legs, all I can hear when I watch this video is… reach, just a bit longer and a

bit more. There is something exquisite about the feeling of push through legs because the connection

you feel from your legs to your spine.

This is a great one for anyone who has very been told their psoas major is tight. As push through legs

legs you lengthen from your spine all the way down to your toes. It drops ribs, opens posterior

diaphragms, asks for rolling in the hip joint while stabilizing your torso. Who could ask for anything

Tower Trivia: The Tower is derived from the Pilates Trapeze Table, or Cadillac, a large table overhung

with springs and bars and yes, a trapeze swing, that nearly everyone initially believes to be a somewhat

troubling combination of hospital bed and torture device. There may be some truth to the former

assessment, as Joseph Pilates is believed to have experimented with using springs on real hospital beds for resistance training with bedridden soldiers during WWI

Come September 2019 we will have tower classes at both 109 Surrey and 17 Goodwin studios.
