Results-Oriented Program
Our group classes and private sessions are designed for long term results. Since Pilates is focused on quality, not quantity, it is important that you learn to do the exercises in the right way from the beginning. Over time, the exercises become more challenging and demanding as they focus on building more whole body strength.
At the highest level, Pilates is an integrated total body conditioning workout that builds the powerful and balanced strength and flexibility of a professional dancer or gymnast.
Group Classes or Private Sessions?
Group classes are an economical way to improve movement and performance. Private sessions are an effective way to address specific concerns of injuries, pain, movement impairments all the way to sports performance.
Which one is for you?
If you are interested in Group classes. Have little or no physical limitations, try a FREE class.
If you are interested in Group classes and need specialized attentions due to a physical concern, book a consult here.
If you are interested in Private sessions but aren’t sure, book a consult.
How Our Program Works
We suggest you pick your home base class or classes. These are the classes you would attend weekly. This allows for you and your classes to develop together, layering in challenge and skill specific to the class participant. It also creates consistency, and consistency is essential to creating a new habit and movement patterns.
If your schedule varies, you can sign up for different classes each week. Are you going to be away? No problem, let us know and reschedule your class. We require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel your classes to retain the class credit.
Our classes are designated with levels. Pilates and the movement techniques we teach at the studio are progressive in nature. Just like school, you need to learn the alphabet before you write an essay. Think of the levels of our class in the same way. By learning your a,b,c’s first your progress will accelerate as you move forward. At each level, we teach new movement patterns, terminalogy and skills. So it is essential that you take the lower levels before moving on to a higher level class.
